2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage- with great patience and careful instruction.
I love this verse so much as it’s very encouraging and at times very convicting. To be prepared to preach the Word means that we always needs to be seeking to be in the presence of our Father, to commune with Jesus. My devotion read something so beautifully and I will share with you too.
When you share the Word of God, our Father;
📌Be careful to be patient with those you share with.
📌Be careful to correctly give instructions from the Word.
📌Be careful, but be firm.
📌Be careful to always be rooted in the love of Christ Jesus.
Dear Father,
Thank You for Your Word that cuts through bone and marrow. Thank You that Your Word will always come to pass and is never in vain. Every Word You speak, matters. Help us to always be prepared and ready to preach Your Word as You have willed and purposed for us to do. Help us be careful, effective and impactful and always dependent on Your Holy Spirit asYou lead us.
