Sometimes, in the midst of the busyness, stressors of life and our expectations from God, we tend to forget the most basic things.
we forget that without God we are nothing.
we forget that all we ought to do is founded on Christ only.
when we focus on Jesus, we won't be distracted by the busyness of life and its stressors.
we forget to speak to God about everything and anything.
we forget that God Who created all things, knows all things.
Since, I have challenged myself to write this online journal for 30 days, I conveniently forgot how amazing it feels when I actually take my pen and write on paper. When I started writing last night, it felt like a sigh of relief. In that moment, time felt as if it slowed down and I could peacefully take every thought and take it apart and allow Holy Spirit to speak to it. I know that we all journal differently and some just don't. But I challenge you to start if you have not yet, and for those that only type as they journal try doing so with an actual pen and paper.
Lastly, I want to share with you a question that has been highlighted to me by Holy Spirit, all through yesterday; have you made Jesus known today?
This is a convicting question, you know. Yet, it is important to be aware of how you conduct yourself. Without words, can people see that you love Jesus and live life for Him?
I will leave you with that and this; may everything you do and be, be founded on Jesus Christ. In this way, trust Him to lead you accordingly.
Dear Jesus,
Thank You, that You're all knowing and so graceful. I pray my Lord Jesus, that You will help me live a life to be completely surrendered to You and Your Will. Less of me and more of You Jesus.
In Jesus Mighty Name, amen.
less of me, more of Jesus, all of Jesus.
🕊
