Life, from Him, through Him, for Him

At this point we should all have the knowing that God is merciful. Not because of anything we have done or can still do but rather because of Who He is, our loving & merciful Father.

Since, we have received the gift of a new life through Christ Jesus, by the grace given by God. We ought to live our lives pleasing to God. Living our lives for Him, means to offer our very bodies as a living sacrifice to God through Jesus. By living a life of sacrifice, holiness and pleasing to God is the truest & purest form of worship (Romans 12:1).

This means that as you live your daily life, to not conform to pattern of this world. Not to do what the world does. Doing so, means you will not be liked, some will even hate you for what you choose not to do. You might even find yourself most of the time alone on this journey. But know that all who are in Christ Jesus is truly not alone, because He is with you. 💕

So, He will be with you when you need comfort when the world hates on you.

I find the verses in John 15, (where Jesus speaks) to be encouraging, knowing that I am in this world but not from it; John 15;18-19, If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

🙌In this, I find my peace...

To not conform ultimately means that as believers we ought to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Renewing of our minds in Christ means that whatever we face, we ought to be asking; 'What is true here and what does God's word say about this? Transformation by the renewing of our minds means to be spending time with God, acknowledging & experiencing His glory daily, through His Word, prayer, essentially living a life of discipleship unto God through Christ Jesus.

🚫We must bear in mind that the transforming of our minds has absolutely nothing to do with our feelings nor with works.

When we offer ourselves to Him, He renews & transforms us. Making that we are set apart to be able to experience His will and His ways and so giving us the tools to know His continued will as we continue to abide in Him, as living sacrifices.

John 14:23-Jesus replied, anyone who loves Me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will make our home with them.
