Jesus is the reward. It is only He Who satisfies.🙌
Today as every other day, we each get to face decisions that need to be made. Some of us can just pass that task on to another or even share the the responsibility with another in making a decision, or maybe it’s only you. Either way, decisions are inevitable.
Decisions could come in the simplest form to the most complex. Yet, it needs to be made.
I am writing to remind you that; it’s time to get still in Christ.
When faced with a decision, we tend to have an idea of the outcome we would like. This is human, however since we are in Christ, God Who knows all, also wants to know from us what we would like the outcome to be. Look, He knows all things concerning you, yet I believe that He wants us to remember that He also knows what best for us.
What this means is this;
🙇♀️Lay down your cares and thoughts at His feet. Commune with Him and leave all your expectations with Him. And leave it there. And what you then ought to be picking up is this;
🧐That even though I may think I know what is best for me, I trust that God’s best is what I need. That no matter what, God will help me make the right decision based on His will and purpose for me.
It’s a tough thing to do. But it is necessary.
Because it’s not what we want that is the prize, it’s Who God is, that is the prize.
His will; is what we should be honoured to have done in our lives.
Dear Jesus,
I thank You, that Your will is perfect and complete. Thank You, for Your grace and that You are the prize Jesus. May we always remember, that without You, we are nothing and that no matter what we want out of this life that it is nothing compared to You and life with You. Help us, Holy Spirit to bring all we’re faced with and leave it at Your feet and when we stand up, to pick up only what You have for us. In Jesus holy name, amen
