Today someone said I smell like crème soda. I responded with thank you of course, same time I was truly taken back because that was a new one for me. I’ve smelt of many things but not a cool drink before. 😎
Anyway, today I was reminded that God’s grace is enough. Truly sufficient for the day.
Two things I’d love to share;
1️⃣ the same person who shared this cool drink compliment told me I was being gracious.
In that moment I just said thank You Jesus.
I was just so thankful that I could be a vessel for God’s grace. I have been more aware of His grace upon my life recently and only ever want to be an extension of it of course. And when this man said this, I was in awe at the works of Holy Spirit. For more context; I actually helped this guy with a lift and went the extra mile to help him get around going forward. I would usually not do this, I’m not the one to ever offer a man a lift ever. (He was man who didn’t think he was a man)
2️⃣ there’s grace in listening. I am sure everyone knows there’s a difference between ‘hearing & ‘listening right. There’s so much love when you just listening to a person, this allows them to know that you’re actually do care. Even a random stranger. Also, you get to really hear what they not saying. I know that seems weird but seriously the Holy Spirit provides discernment. ☝️
Point is: God’s grace is sufficient for the day. You’re an extension of God’s grace, embrace it, be it.
Dear Jesus,
Thank You, for Your grace over my life and that You are more enough for me. Oh, Father please help me be an extension of Your grace and help me to discern the words unspoken according to You will.
In Jesus name, amen.
Be gracious, be kind.
