I can go to church every second day, I can pray in tongues for 10 hours, I can read my Bible all day but if I am not living a practical life of faith in Christ Jesus, then I am only fooling myself.
God knows all and He knows all who are His.
2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those Who are His,” and “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”
I reference this, because it’s Bible!
The truth is many people speak something and do a complete different thing. In actual fact, we are all guilty of this at some point. Let’s just thank our Heavenly Father for His forgiveness and grace when we ourselves are hypocrites.
Yet, as we are in Christ, we should aim to turn away from this. If we practically work out and walk out our salvation then obviously the transformation will not only be true for us but for others too. I have learnt that a Christian truly living and doing the will of Father in Christ can offend a Christian whose not. I’ve also seen great Biblical teachers, be completely different (worldly) people when they are at their homes and out of the eye of the church goers. And I’m certain this is not new to you reader.
But friend, if you want to see a change then it starts with you.
📍Let’s always aim to live practically for Jesus and with Jesus.
📍Let’s always be ready to answer for our hope in Him.
📍Let’s always aim to be bold and gently instruct one another so that others can also be saved.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this blessed and wisdom-filled week. Thank You for Your goodness, love and truth. Lord Jesus, we are so undeserving of Your mercy and grace and yet You grant us this, I will never have enough thank You’s! I pray that You will help me live this life You have given me to live according to Your purpose and according to Your Word. Help me to not only read Your word but to also be a do-er of Your Word. May my actions speak of Your goodness and encourage others to seek You as their Lord and Savior.
In Jesus Mighty Name, amen.
-Jesus, the lover of my soul. ❤️
